The design of the U19HS and U19HSs is from a reel seat salvaged from the Struble Way Back Box. Never commercially offered before, this seat was manufactured for a rod company many moons ago and we wanted to add it to our line of all-metal seats fro larger rods and saltwater applications.

Like the venerable old all-metal seats Struble offered 15 years ago, these have niceties built in, like hook-keepers in the cork retainer with hook guides machined into the barrel and machined dots in the retainer to easily find the hood for the reel foot. The U19HS was found with a contoured cork check for use with a fighting butt and two locknuts housing Delrin washers and sporting beefy slant knurling for a sure grip in any fishing condition.

Unlike the model we found in the Way Back Box, these come in five finish options: rich Black anodized, sparkling Champagne anodized, and deep Bronze anodized...Bright and Dark Nickel also available.
