Lunar Flex Glass Blanks
Campanella's first glass series of blanks is the new "Lunar Flex."
These blanks feature unidirectional E glass with slip-over ferrules which create a sense of unity that does not impair the overall beauty and appearance of the rod while also creating a smooth curve. The slip-over ferrules also help with weight reduction making this glass rod surprisingly lightweight.
And most uniquely, these are four-piece Unidirectional E-Glass blanks-- perhaps the only four piece E-Glass blank in the world. The four piece configuration make these light-line rods incredibly compact for backpacking, kayaking, air travel, or just throwing a rod in the back seat.
With its overall lightness, delicate tip, and powerful mid-section the smooth action gently pushes the line out with ease. As the name suggests, you can cast a smooth and beautiful loop with little force, as if you were casting on the moon. The Unidirectional E-Glass creates a supple action that absorbs shock well, giving excellent tippet protection while allowing you to interact with fish with more peace of mind.
